The Jordanian DPM Al Darak Urban CAMO is a specialized camouflage pattern used by Al Darak, the Jordanian Gendarmerie, for urban security and law enforcement operations. Derived from the classic British Disruptive Pattern Material (DPM), this version was adapted to suit Jordan’s metropolitan and desert-urban environments, featuring a grayscale mix of blue tones, and beige for effective concealment in cityscapes and built-up areas. Introduced as part of Jordan’s modernization of its security forces, this pattern is primarily worn by Jordan’s paramilitary police units, tasked with riot control, counterterrorism, and internal security. While unique to Jordan, similar urban DPM adaptations have been used by other Middle Eastern and North African security forces.
