Amoeba Lithuanian Camo is a historical camouflage pattern used by the Lithuanian Armed Forces, particularly in the interwar period and early post-Soviet years. The pattern, characterized by large, irregular amoeba-like blotches in shades of green, brown, and tan, was designed to provide effective concealment in forested and mixed terrain environments. Inspired by WWII-era German Leibermuster and Soviet camouflage designs, this pattern was used by Lithuanian military and paramilitary forces before being phased out in favor of more modern patterns such as Misko Camo and later digital designs like M05. Similar amoeba-style camouflage has been worn by other European nations, including Latvia and Finland, in their early military camouflage development. The version of Amoeba Lithuanian Camo featured on CAMO HQ is inspired by this historically significant pattern, preserving its unique aesthetic while refining it for collectors, reenactors, and commercial applications.
