Digital AOR-2 camouflage is a pixelated woodland pattern originally developed for the United States Navy’s Naval Special Warfare units, such as Navy SEALs, as part of their AOR (Area of Responsibility) series, which also includes AOR-1 for arid environments. AOR-2 is optimized for temperate and jungle settings, featuring a mix of green, brown, and beige pixels to enhance concealment in dense vegetation. While primarily used by U.S. special operations forces, variations of this pattern have been seen in other countries, particularly among allied forces with close military ties to the United States. The design of AOR-2 served as the inspiration for the version available through CAMO HQ, which maintains the essence of the original while adapting it for commercial and non-military use.
