Collection: Brazilian Lizard Vertical CAMO

The Brazilian Lizard Vertical CAMO is inspired by the vertical-oriented Lizard camouflage pattern used by the Brazilian Armed Forces, which evolved from the French Lizard (Leopard) camo originally introduced in the 1950s. Unlike traditional horizontal Lizard patterns, this version features vertical brushstroke-like stripes in shades of green, brown, and black, optimized for dense jungle and rainforest environments found in the Amazon and Atlantic forests of Brazil. This camouflage was primarily worn by Brazilian Army infantry, special forces, and airborne troops, providing effective concealment in tropical foliage and high-canopy terrain. Variants of this vertical Lizard camo have also been used by other Latin American countries, including Paraguay and Argentina, for military and paramilitary units operating in similar environments. The Brazilian Lizard Vertical CAMO available through CAMO HQ is inspired by this classic jungle warfare pattern, preserving its effective and historic aesthetic while adapting it for commercial and non-military applications.
