Pretty nice, but ...

The blanket is pretty pricey for what it is. It's not exactly soft like I expected and the edges could have been finished a little nicer, but it looks cool and it's decently warm.

Sherpa Vietnam Tigerstripe camouflage blanket

My Sherpa blanket makes me look forward to going to bed. It is warm, soft, and the Vietnam Tigerstripe camouflage color is beautiful. It shipped fast, tracking was spot on. This is the third Sherpa blanket I have purchased from Camo HQ and it won't be my last. My nephew who will deploy soon wants one. Bottom line, I love it!

So warm, soft, and comfortable, makes you look forward to going to sleep. I have two already and just ordered a large third. My nephew wants one for his upcoming deployment. The Tigerstripe is awesome, hard to find pattern. Will definitely be ordering more from CAMO HQ.

Production Time

Most CAMO HQ products are made to order and normally require approximately 3–7 business days for production before shipping. Production time does not include shipping transit time and may occasionally increase during holidays, high-order-volume periods, temporary production backlogs, staffing limitations, equipment maintenance, quality-control reviews, or delays affecting a specific product or fulfillment location.

Care Instructions

Always follow the care label attached to your product. For most CAMO HQ apparel, machine wash cold with similar colors using mild detergent; avoid bleach and fabric softener, and tumble dry on low or hang dry. Wash inside out when possible and do not iron directly over printed areas. Proper care helps preserve the fabric, color, print quality, and garment shape.

Returns & Product Issues

We will always review and resolve qualifying issues involving damaged products, manufacturing defects, printing errors, or incorrect items when reported within 7 days of delivery and accompanied by clear photographs. Most products remain final sale because they are made to order. However, CAMO HQ offers limited first-order sizing assistance and may approve returns of eligible unworn items at its discretion, subject to return shipping and a restocking fee.

Pattern History: Tiger Stripe

Tiger Stripe camouflage was first developed during the early 1960s for South Vietnamese military and special operations units fighting in the dense jungles of Southeast Asia. Inspired by the French Lizard camouflage pattern, Tiger Stripe evolved into a family of distinctive hand-printed designs featuring bold, brush-like black stripes over green and brown backgrounds. Its exceptional effectiveness in tropical environments quickly made it the preferred camouflage of U.S. Army Special Forces, MACV-SOG, Navy SEALs, Marine Force Recon, Air Commandos, and elite South Vietnamese Ranger and Reconnaissance units throughout the Vietnam War.

Unlike standardized military camouflage, Tiger Stripe was produced by multiple manufacturers in South Vietnam, Thailand, Japan, and Okinawa, resulting in dozens of unique variations that remain highly sought after by collectors today. More than sixty years later, Tiger Stripe is regarded as one of the most iconic and recognizable camouflage patterns ever created, symbolizing the courage, innovation, and legacy of the special operations forces who wore it.
