Collection: German Splittermuster 1931 Autumn CAMO

The German Splittermuster 1931 Autumn CAMO is inspired by the Splittermuster 31 (Splinter Pattern 31) camouflage, originally developed for the Reichswehr in 1931 and widely used by the Wehrmacht during World War II. While the standard Splittermuster 31 was designed for spring and summer operations, an autumn variation was often seen on reversible smocks and Zeltbahn shelter quarters, featuring a warmer, earth-toned color palette. This version retained the signature angular splinter shapes and rain streaks but used darker brown, ochre, and muted green shades to better blend into autumn foliage, fallen leaves, and late-season woodland terrain. Although Germany discontinued this pattern after the war, it influenced later East German (NVA) Strichtarn "Rain Pattern" camouflage and modern Flecktarn designs. The German Splittermuster 1931 Autumn CAMO available through CAMO HQ is inspired by this seasonal adaptation of a historic WWII camouflage, maintaining its classic wartime aesthetic while being adapted for commercial and non-military applications.
