The New Zealand Multi-Terrain CAMO (NZMTP) is the standard camouflage pattern used by the New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF), designed to provide effective concealment across the country’s diverse landscapes, including forests, mountains, grasslands, and urban environments. Introduced as a replacement for the older DPM (Disruptive Pattern Material) camouflage, this pattern was influenced by the British Multi-Terrain Pattern (MTP), featuring a blend of tan, brown, and green shades that allow for adaptability in multiple environments. While primarily worn by the New Zealand Army, this camouflage has also been utilized by specialized police and security forces for tactical operations. The New Zealand Multi-Terrain CAMO available through CAMO HQ is inspired by this modern design, preserving its multi-environment effectiveness while refining it for contemporary tactical and outdoor applications.
