Collection: Congo Grasslands CAMO

The Congo Grasslands CAMO is inspired by camouflage patterns used by military and paramilitary forces in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (formerly Zaire), designed for operations in savanna, grasslands, and tropical woodland environments. Historically, the Armed Forces of Zaire (FAZ) and later the Congolese Armed Forces (FARDC) have used a variety of camouflage patterns, often influenced by French, Belgian, and Chinese military designs. The Congo Grasslands pattern incorporates earthy greens, tans, and brown tones, optimized for blending into the open fields, bushy terrain, and transitional zones between forest and savanna that characterize much of Central Africa. Similar camouflage has been used by regional forces in Chad, Central African Republic, and Angola, where terrain and vegetation require adaptable concealment. The Congo Grasslands CAMO available through CAMO HQ is inspired by these African military camouflage patterns, preserving their tactical effectiveness while being adapted for commercial and non-military applications.
