Collection: South African 32 Battalion CAMO

The SADF 32 Battalion CAMO is inspired by the unique camouflage pattern worn by 32 Battalion, an elite unit of the South African Defence Force (SADF) active from 1975 to 1993. This battalion, composed mainly of Angolan and South African soldiers, was known for its effectiveness in counter-insurgency and bush warfare operations across Angola and Namibia. Their camouflage pattern was distinct from the standard SADF Nutria Brown, featuring a disruptive design with bold, irregular shapes in brown, green, and tan to provide superior concealment in the savanna and bushveld environments of Southern Africa. Although 32 Battalion was disbanded in the early 1990s, its legacy and camouflage pattern have remained influential in military and paramilitary circles. The SADF 32 Battalion CAMO available through CAMO HQ is inspired by this historic pattern, maintaining its rugged and battle-proven aesthetic while adapting it for commercial and non-military applications.
