Collection: Philippine Tiger Stripe Special Forces Distinctive Uniform (SDFU) CAMO
Philippine Tiger Stripe Special Forces Distinctive Uniform (SDFU) CAMO—is our modern homage to the Philippine Army Special Forces’ tiger-stripe, a locally favored evolution of Vietnam-era tigerstripe that the Philippines revived for Special Forces use in the 2000s. Historically, tigerstripe was created for close-range concealment in dense jungle and secondary growth; the Philippine take kept the jagged “leaf/stripe” geometry but adapted colors and scale for the islands’ mixed terrain—rainforest edges, cogon grass, bamboo thickets, and urban fringe. Our SDFU-inspired variant nods to that lineage (often referenced in open sources as the Special Forces Distinctive Uniform/SFDU and seen across AFP special operations units over time) while tuning contrast for modern apparel. This is a creative tribute to historic patterns (not an official reproduction), printed crisp and colorfast on made-to-order gear with inclusive sizing—built for heat, movement, and everyday wear from trail to city.
