Collection: Hungarian Leaf CAMO

Hungarian Leaf CAMO was a Cold War-era camouflage pattern developed for the Hungarian People's Army (Magyar Néphadsereg), introduced in 1967 as an evolution of earlier Hungarian military designs. This pattern featured large, irregular leaf shapes in shades of green and brown over a tan base, designed for woodland and temperate environments. Its purpose was to provide effective concealment in forests and grassy terrain, making it well-suited for Hungary’s diverse landscapes. Used primarily by infantry and special forces, this pattern remained in service until more modern camouflage designs replaced it in the 1990s, following Hungary’s transition to NATO standards. The version of the Hungarian Leaf CAMO featured on CAMO HQ is inspired by this historic military pattern, preserving its distinct aesthetic while adapting it for collectors, reenactors, and commercial applications.
