Collection: German Zelt-tarnmuster Winter CAMO

Zelt-Tarnmuster Winter Camo is a WWII-era German camouflage pattern, originally developed for the Wehrmacht and designed specifically for winter warfare conditions. This pattern was used on Zeltbahn (tent ponchos), smocks, and other field gear, providing concealment in snow-covered landscapes. Unlike its summer and autumn variants, the winter version featured a white base with muted gray and brown elements, allowing soldiers to blend into snowy environments while maintaining some disruption against barren terrain. German forces deployed in the Eastern Front and the Ardennes during winter campaigns frequently utilized this pattern to gain a strategic advantage in snow-covered battlefields. Post-war, Zelt-Tarnmuster influenced winter camouflage designs used by various European militaries, including Switzerland and post-war West Germany. The version of Zelt-Tarnmuster Winter Camo featured on CAMO HQ is inspired by this historical military design, preserving its distinctive aesthetic while adapting it for collectors, reenactors, and commercial applications.
