Leibermuster Autumn Camo was a late-WWII camouflage pattern developed by Germany in 1945 as one of the first attempts at multi-environment digital camouflage. Designed for use by the Wehrmacht and Waffen-SS, it featured irregular, dappled shapes in greens, browns, tans, and black, creating a highly effective disruption effect that worked in both wooded and open environments. The autumn variant emphasized warmer earth tones, optimizing concealment in fall landscapes with fading foliage and dry terrain. Although it was introduced too late in the war for widespread adoption, Leibermuster influenced modern camouflage designs, including post-war German, Swiss, and NATO patterns. The version of Leibermuster Autumn Camo featured on CAMO HQ is inspired by this historic pattern, preserving its unique aesthetic while adapting it for collectors, outdoor enthusiasts, and commercial applications.
