Turtle Shell Stahlhelm CAMO is a historically inspired CAMO HQ interpretation influenced by the angular multicolor camouflage schemes hand-applied to German steel helmets during the First World War. Featuring large irregular sections in muted green, brown, ochre, and dark outlining, this pattern evokes weathered field equipment, defensive positions, and the improvised character of early disruptive camouflage. Its bold segmented structure creates the distinctive shell-like appearance that gave this camouflage family its modern nickname.
