Sumpfmuster 43 Camo was a WWII-era camouflage pattern developed for the Wehrmacht, introduced in 1943 as an improvement on earlier Sumpfmuster (Swamp Pattern) designs. Designed for woodland and marshland environments, this pattern featured irregular green and brown patches over a tan base, mimicking natural vegetation and providing effective concealment in temperate and forested regions. It was primarily used on Zeltbahn (tent ponchos), smocks, and field gear, issued to Luftwaffe ground troops, Heer (Army) personnel, and some Waffen-SS units.
