Production Time

Most CAMO HQ products are made to order and normally require approximately 3–7 business days for production before shipping. Production time does not include shipping transit time and may occasionally increase during holidays, high-order-volume periods, temporary production backlogs, staffing limitations, equipment maintenance, quality-control reviews, or delays affecting a specific product or fulfillment location.

Sizing & Fit

CAMO HQ products are made by several trusted production partners, so sizing and fit may vary by style. Always review the product-specific size chart before ordering, and compare the listed measurements with those of a similar garment you already own. If you are between sizes or prefer a more relaxed fit, consider sizing up. Small measurement differences are normal in apparel production. Because most items are made to order, returns or exchanges for incorrect size selection are generally not available, although first-time customers who purchased one apparel item may contact us within 7 days of delivery for possible sizing assistance.

Care Instructions

Always follow the care label attached to your product. For most CAMO HQ apparel, machine wash cold with similar colors using mild detergent; avoid bleach and fabric softener, and tumble dry on low or hang dry. Wash inside out when possible and do not iron directly over printed areas. Proper care helps preserve the fabric, color, print quality, and garment shape.

Returns & Product Issues

Most products remain final sale because they are made to order. However, CAMO HQ offers limited first-order sizing assistance and may approve returns of eligible unworn items at its discretion, subject to return shipping and a restocking fee. We will also review and resolve qualifying issues involving damaged products, manufacturing defects, printing errors, or incorrect items when reported within 7 days of delivery and accompanied by clear photographs.

Pattern History: DPM

Disruptive Pattern Material (DPM) was developed by the United Kingdom during the late 1960s and officially adopted by the British Army in the 1970s as the successor to the World War II-era Denison Smock and earlier brushstroke camouflage patterns. Featuring large, irregular shapes in black, brown, dark green, and light green, DPM was designed to provide effective concealment across the temperate woodlands of Europe while maintaining excellent performance at both close and long distances. It quickly became one of the most successful and widely recognized camouflage patterns of the Cold War.

Over the following decades, DPM was worn by British forces in Northern Ireland, the Falklands War, the Gulf War, the Balkans, Iraq, Afghanistan, and numerous peacekeeping operations around the world. Its effectiveness led to widespread adoption and adaptation by military forces in countries including Ireland, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Oman, Kenya, Indonesia, and others. Although the British Army has since transitioned to Multi-Terrain Pattern (MTP), DPM remains one of the most influential camouflage designs ever created and a defining symbol of British military heritage.
