Rhodesian Brushstroke camouflage was developed during the 1960s for the armed forces of Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) and became one of the most effective bush camouflage patterns ever fielded. Designed specifically for the rugged African savanna and thornveld, the pattern features bold brushstroke shapes in green, brown, and tan that blend naturally with the dry grasses, scrub, and woodland terrain of southern Africa.
