Brushstroke Moon and Balls CAMO
Brushstroke Moon and Balls CAMO is a historically inspired CAMO HQ interpretation influenced by Belgium’s early postwar brushstroke camouflage, commonly nicknamed “Moon and Balls” for its distinctive crescent-like and rounded shapes. Introduced in the 1950s and influenced by British Denison-style camouflage, the original pattern became associated with Belgian airborne, commando, and marine personnel, as well as operations in the Congo. Reimagined with sweeping brushstrokes, abstract circular forms, layered green, brown, tan, and dark earth tones, this variation preserves the unusual movement and unmistakable visual character of the historic design while adapting it for modern apparel and gear. Created for camouflage enthusiasts, collectors, reenactors, and students of military history, Brushstroke Moon and Balls CAMO remains an independent commercial interpretation with no official affiliation to Belgium, any military organization, Government agency, or protected camouflage system.
