The ARVN Tiger Stripe CAMO is inspired by the Tiger Stripe camouflage pattern famously worn by the Army of the Republic of Vietnam (ARVN) during the Vietnam War. Developed from earlier French and American camouflage designs, ARVN Tiger Stripe featured bold, slashing black and green stripes over a tan or brown background, making it highly effective for jungle warfare. It was primarily issued to ARVN Rangers, Special Forces, and reconnaissance units, as well as U.S. advisors and MACV-SOG operatives embedded with South Vietnamese troops. Although no longer in active service, variations of Tiger Stripe have been used by other countries, including Thailand and the Philippines, for special operations forces. The ARVN Tiger Stripe CAMO available through CAMO HQ is inspired by this legendary combat pattern, preserving its historical and tactical aesthetic while adapting it for commercial and non-military applications.
