Production Time

Most CAMO HQ products are made to order and normally require approximately 3–7 business days for production before shipping. Production time does not include shipping transit time and may occasionally increase during holidays, high-order-volume periods, temporary production backlogs, staffing limitations, equipment maintenance, quality-control reviews, or delays affecting a specific product or fulfillment location.

Sizing & Fit

CAMO HQ products are made by several trusted production partners, so sizing and fit may vary by style. Always review the product-specific size chart before ordering, and compare the listed measurements with those of a similar garment you already own. If you are between sizes or prefer a more relaxed fit, consider sizing up. Small measurement differences are normal in apparel production. Because most items are made to order, returns or exchanges for incorrect size selection are generally not available, although first-time customers who purchased one apparel item may contact us within 7 days of delivery for possible sizing assistance.

Care Instructions

Always follow the care label attached to your product. For most CAMO HQ apparel, machine wash cold with similar colors using mild detergent; avoid bleach and fabric softener, and tumble dry on low or hang dry. Wash inside out when possible and do not iron directly over printed areas. Proper care helps preserve the fabric, color, print quality, and garment shape.

Returns & Product Issues

Most products remain final sale because they are made to order. However, CAMO HQ offers limited first-order sizing assistance and may approve returns of eligible unworn items at its discretion, subject to return shipping and a restocking fee. We will also review and resolve qualifying issues involving damaged products, manufacturing defects, printing errors, or incorrect items when reported within 7 days of delivery and accompanied by clear photographs.

Pattern History: Oak Leaf

Oak Leaf Camouflage, known in German as Eichenlaubmuster, was one of the most distinctive camouflage patterns developed by Nazi Germany during World War II. Introduced in 1942, it was designed specifically for the Waffen-SS and featured large, rounded leaf shapes that closely resembled the foliage of European oak forests. Produced in both Spring and Autumn color variations, the pattern allowed soldiers to adapt to changing seasonal environments while providing excellent concealment in wooded terrain. Unlike the angular German Army splinter patterns, Oak Leaf used organic shapes and layered color transitions to create a highly effective disruptive camouflage.

Issued on smocks, helmet covers, reversible uniforms, shelter halves, and other field equipment, Oak Leaf became one of the most recognizable Waffen-SS camouflage designs of the war. Its sophisticated use of seasonal color palettes and natural leaf forms represented a significant advancement in military camouflage technology and influenced numerous post-war camouflage developments around the world. Today, Oak Leaf Camouflage is regarded as one of the most iconic and historically significant camouflage patterns ever produced, valued by military historians, collectors, and camouflage enthusiasts for its innovative design, wartime legacy, and enduring influence on modern camouflage systems.
