The compact workhorse your desk—or workbench—has been waiting for. The CAMO HQ Universal Large Desk Pad features a smooth, micro-woven polyester surface for fast, accurate tracking, paired with a grippy natural-rubber base that stays planted when things get lively. Rounded edges resist fraying, and the low-profile design is easy to reposition, roll up, or pack when you need to move.

Built for more than gaming, this pad pulls double (or triple) duty as a gun-cleaning / EDC mat for small parts like springs, pins, and optics screws; a pistol field-strip staging surface; or a bench mat for cameras, lenses, drones, RC repairs, watches, knives, and everyday maintenance. The soft top protects finishes, the rubber base prevents parts from skittering, and the CAMO print brings attitude to any setup.

Specs & care: Soft polyester surface; natural rubber base; rounded edges; blank sourced from China. Clean with mild soap and water and air-dry flat. For firearms work, use light oils sparingly, place an absorbent rag under heavily oiled parts, and avoid harsh solvents.

Production Time

Most CAMO HQ products are made to order and normally require approximately 3–7 business days for production before shipping. Production time does not include shipping transit time and may occasionally increase during holidays, high-order-volume periods, temporary production backlogs, staffing limitations, equipment maintenance, quality-control reviews, or delays affecting a specific product or fulfillment location.

Care Instructions

Always follow the care label attached to your product. For most CAMO HQ apparel, machine wash cold with similar colors using mild detergent; avoid bleach and fabric softener, and tumble dry on low or hang dry. Wash inside out when possible and do not iron directly over printed areas. Proper care helps preserve the fabric, color, print quality, and garment shape.

Returns & Product Issues

We will always review and resolve qualifying issues involving damaged products, manufacturing defects, printing errors, or incorrect items when reported within 7 days of delivery and accompanied by clear photographs. Most products remain final sale because they are made to order. However, CAMO HQ offers limited first-order sizing assistance and may approve returns of eligible unworn items at its discretion, subject to return shipping and a restocking fee.

Pattern History: Sumpfmuster

Sumpfmuster, meaning "Marsh Pattern" in German, was developed by Germany during the closing years of World War II as an evolution of the earlier Splittermuster camouflage. Introduced in 1943 and refined in 1944, Sumpfmuster retained the angular splinter shapes of its predecessor but replaced many of the sharp geometric forms with softer, elongated brush-like elements while maintaining the distinctive vertical "rain" streaks. The result was a camouflage pattern that blended more effectively in forests, wetlands, and the marshy landscapes of Central and Eastern Europe.

Issued in limited quantities to Wehrmacht and Waffen-SS units during the final years of the war, Sumpfmuster represented one of Germany's last major camouflage developments before the conflict ended. Its improved disruptive design influenced numerous post-war camouflage patterns, including East Germany's Strichtarn and other European rain-pattern camouflage systems developed during the Cold War. Today, Sumpfmuster is recognized as one of the rarest and most historically significant German camouflage patterns, admired by military historians, collectors, and camouflage enthusiasts for its innovative design and lasting influence on modern military camouflage.
