The Danish Flecktarn Woodland CAMO is inspired by the M/84 camouflage pattern, which was the standard woodland camouflage of the Danish Armed Forces from the 1980s until the early 2000s. Based on the German Flecktarn design, this pattern features a disruptive mix of dark green, light green, brown, and black spots, optimized for Denmark’s temperate forests, grasslands, and mixed-terrain environments. The Danish Army, Navy, and Special Forces used this pattern extensively in both domestic training and international deployments, including peacekeeping missions in the Balkans and NATO operations. Though eventually replaced by MultiCam for overseas deployments, Danish Flecktarn Woodland remains an iconic pattern, with some elements still seen in Danish Home Guard and reserve units.
