Production Time

Most CAMO HQ products are made to order and normally require approximately 3–7 business days for production before shipping. Due to a temporary surge in demand and limited production capacity, all-over print products fulfilled from our Latvia facility may currently require 7–9 business days for production. This delay affects only qualifying AOP items produced in Latvia and does not include shipping transit time. Production times are expected to return to normal by early August, depending on order volume.

Pattern History: Frog Skin

Frog Skin camouflage, officially known as the M1942 Spot Pattern, was developed by the United States during World War II and became the first mass-produced camouflage uniform issued to American ground combat forces. Introduced in 1942, the reversible design featured a green jungle pattern on one side and a brown beach pattern on the other, allowing troops to adapt to different combat environments. Frog Skin saw extensive service with U.S. Marine Corps units in the Pacific Theater and was also issued to elite U.S. Army formations, including paratroopers and raider units operating in Europe and the Pacific.

Although its use by conventional forces declined after World War II, Frog Skin left a lasting mark on military camouflage history. The pattern directly influenced numerous post-war camouflage designs, including the French Lizard pattern and, ultimately, the iconic Tiger Stripe camouflage used during the Vietnam War. Today, Frog Skin is recognized as one of the most historically significant camouflage patterns ever created and remains highly sought after by military historians, collectors, and camouflage enthusiasts around the world.
