Collection: South African Special Forces Adder DPM CAMO

This Darker DPM style CAMO was worn by the Selous Scouts / RLI-SAS “Reece Commando” for night operations in Rhodesia and South Africa. This was their favored “Night-Camo” and they wore this all the way till the end, until they were disbanded in 1980. Produced for South Africa by Adder/Adro specifically for civilian distribution (although often attributed to "special forces" or "special police urban operations") is this two-color pattern derived from British DPM designs. Consisting of black (almost dark purple) disruptive shapes on a tan grey background, this pattern seems to have been produced exclusively in South Africa and does not appear to have been exported like the Rhodesian version.
