Collection: Rhodesian Brushstroke Transkei CAMO

The camouflage design seen here, consisting of vertical "brushstrokes" in brown and green on a sand-colored background, was tested by the BSAP in the late 1960s as evidenced by archival photographs and surviving uniform examples. This pattern was later revived by the government of Zimbabwe utilizing two different color palettes and issued as "wet" and "dry" season camouflage, and would re-appear again in the officially adopted camouflage pattern of the former South African Tribal Homeland of Transkei.
